We would like to see you once every six months for a periodic check-up. During this visit, we will discuss your daily oral care with you so that your teeth and mouth remain healthy. If necessary, we will take action and provide you with advice on how to improve oral hygiene.
If problems are found in your teeth, the dentist will discuss with you what additional treatment is required. The dentist will also inform you about:
- the expected results
- the risks associated with the treatment
- the number of treatments
- and the duration of the treatments.
You can read information about treatments in the information about oral health brochures on our website and at www.allesoverhetgebit.nl (In Dutch).
We will discuss minor procedures with you immediately; if necessary, treatment will follow shortly. This could include a simple dental cleaning or placing a filling. We will inform you about the costs of extensive treatments. The treatment plan and associated costs can be recorded in writing if desired. In any case, we always do this for treatments from 100 euros and above. After your consent, we will carry out the agreed treatment.
If special treatments are needed, you do not have to look for specialists yourself. We can refer you to colleagues for, among other things, oral surgery / orthodontic treatment/endodontology / implantology / treatment of children / periodontics / treatment of patients with anxiety / gnatology / care for the disabled / maxillofacial prosthetics.
We store the information about your teeth and the history of the treatments on our computer. Naturally, this system is well-secured. We keep the data for at least 15 years. At your (written) request, we can also forward your data to another practitioner.
